Welcome to championship week!!

If your swimmer is participating, please plan to help

We still need the following volunteer shifts covered asap:

• Thursday Time Trials (10 and under)
  • Concord Country Club- 9 am start
  • Timers (2+)
  • We need at least 2 volunteers.  If we have 4 volunteers, we can  split the job into 2 shifts. 

• Friday Time Trials (11 and over)
  • Radley Run- 9 am start
  • Timers (1+)
  • We need at least 1 more volunteer.  If we have 3 more volunteers, we can split the job into 2 shifts.

After Time Trials, we will need parents to sign up right away for the following:

• Saturday Championships (all who qualify)
  • Whitford- 9 am start
  • Timers (2+)
  • We need at least 2 volunteers.  If we have 4 volunteers, we can split the job into 2 shifts
  • Ribbon awards (3+)
    • It is our turn to hand out the awards for the swimmers when the results are in.  Volunteers will be stationed at the top of the hill, under a tent for shade.
      • A runner will bring the labels to you.  You will attach the label to a ribbon, announce the swimmers' names by event, and hand out the ribbons.  
      • Swimmers will line up at the podium for parents to take pictures.  You will then escort the swimmers off the podium to make room for the next group.
    • We need 3 parents to work together at one time.  If we have more volunteers sign up, we can split this job into shifts.  This would be ideal, as this job goes the entire meet and continues after the races have finished!
  • If your swimmer qualifies for champs, please sign up to help.  If we do not have parents sign up before Friday afternoon, we will need to assign these jobs directly, as we are not able to arrive unprepared! 
  • We know all parents want to watch their children swim, so please help us fill all volunteer spots so we can make that happen for everyone!
