July 13th
Final Week of 2024 Summer Swim Season
Sunday, July 14
- End of season banquet- Club Ballroom- 5:30-7:30*
- Please note the time is different than previously communicated. We apologize for the communication error
- Family Fun night- Pool- immediately following the banquet (7:30-10)
- The entire family is welcome to participate in games and swimming.
- Parents vs Coaches relay- we need participants! Please respond to this email if you are interested. We need at least 4 parents, but the more the merrier!
- Dessert will be provided
- Snack bar will be open for beverage service only
Monday, July 15
- Picture Day- 8:30 am
- We will begin individual and family/ group pictures at 8:30 am. Our team photo will be taken at 9 am. If you are not interested in individual pictures, please plan to arrive in time to line up at 9:00!
- Please wear your team suit (or plain black suit).
- Place your order online at www.bishopphoto.com using the League Code: West ChesterSwim24 BEFORE picture day to receive discount pricing and a FREE 8x10 photo calendar!
- Please print your email receipt and hand to the photographer, or write your child's name, phone #, and order confirmation # on a sheet of paper.
- Let's all take this chance to cheer on our youngest swimmers and show them our support!!
- Please arrive by 4:00 pm and sit with our team. Look for our team tents! Warm up starts promptly at 4:10 pm
- Coaches have already set the lineup for relays. We will send out the lineup in an email to follow shortly
- We need volunteers (timers)!! Please visit our website to sign up.
- Please note: Chester Valley will not be providing food to be charged to your member account for this meet. Instead, they have food trucks set up in the parking lot for cash or charge purchases. Please come prepared.
Tuesday, July 16 and Wednesday, July 17
- Morning practices as usual
Thursday, July 18
- 10 and under Time Trials at Concord Country Club
- Please arrive by 7:30 am and sit with the team. Warmups will begin promptly at 7:45
- Swimmers must have already registered to attend. We are unable to submit any late entries.
- We need volunteers (timers)!! Please visit our website to sign up.
- Swimmers who finish in the top 12 in their event will be expected to attend Championships on Saturday
- We will also be holding morning practice for 11 and over swimmers who are signed up for Friday's Time Trials
Friday, July 19
- 11 and Over Time Trials at Radley Run
- Please arrive by 8:00 am and sit with the team. Warmups will begin promptly at 8:10
- Swimmers must have already registered to attend. We are unable to submit any late entries.
- We need volunteers (timers)!! Please visit our website to sign up.
- Swimmers who finish in the top 12 in their event will be expected to attend Championships on Saturday
- We will also be holding morning practice for 10 and under swimmers who have qualified for Championships
Saturday, July 20
- Individual Championships at Whitford Country Club
- Swimmers must qualify during Time Trials to participate.
- Please arrive by 7:30 am and sit with the team. Warmups will begin promptly at 7:40.
- We need volunteers!!!
- Timers (2)
- Awards tent (ideally we need 12 people to fill multiple shifts. This way we can take turns and be able to watch our swimmers' races)
- If your swimmer qualifies, please plan to volunteer!
